Animals have teeth too, or do they?

Rabbits, squirrels and rodents have teeth that never stop growing. They keep them worn down by gnawing on foods like tree bark.
A crocodile replaces its teeth over 40 times in a lifetime.
Even though whales are very big, some of them don't have any teeth. They have rows of stiff hair-like combs that take in food from the ocean.

Would you like to share your passion for dentistry with others?

Schools, community organizations and religious organizations often look to MDDF when they are planning events like Health Fairs and Career Days. MDDF also welcomes participation in the Explorer Post 296 program. If you are a dentist, hygienist or other oral health care professional who would like to volunteer to help out when the opportunity arises, please print out, complete and return this form. We'd love your help!

Share Supplies & Items You No Longer Use

MDDF is happy to put things you no longer need to good use. Oral health care items like toothbrushes and floss can be shared with those in need in our community. And books, puppets, tooth models & other visual aids can help educate others through our Presentation Center. Please contact MDDF to find out if you have something that can help someone else. Thanks!
